Lunch at Cendana Cafe

Huhu, lately rajin nak update blog. Even though quite busy kat ofis tapi still manage to curi2 masa utk create post and edit entry kat rumah.

Okay, this time nak share experience lunch kat Cendana Cafe pulak. Cafe ni sederet dengan Ayam Penyet Jawa dlm previous entry.

Nama restoran ni Cendana Café Walla. Ada terbaca sikit kat decoration dia, cendana ni adalah pokok yang berbau wangi dan berwarna kekuningan. Ermm..lagi apa ek..lupa la.. Tp rasanya sebab tu kot owner ni namakan restoran ni Cendana..supaya ia kekal berbau wangi.

Four of us; Kak Sofia, Kak Ita, Shikin and me step into the restaurant at 1.30pm. The number of customer at that time quite a lot. We look at the lauk nasi campur, tapi dah tinggal berbaki. So, we decided to order makan panas je la. Char Kuey Tiaw (Kak Pya), Nasi Goreng Kampung (Kak Ita & me) and Kuey Tiaw Hailam (Shikin) and for the drinks; The O Ais Limau (Kak Pya), Sirap Bandung (Kak Ita), Kichai (Shikin & me). We asked what is Kichai? Then the worker explained its combination of Lime and Asam Boi.

Nak menunggu makanan sampai, Ya Rabbi punya la lama. Dah habis melilau mata kitorg ni menengok kat seluruh ruang restoran. Pekerja dia quite ramai and maybe family business kot sbbnya rata2 muka sama je (sepesen). Dalam pada duk tgk2 tu, adalah ternampak pelakon iklan Betul2 Ho Liao pun ada makan kat situ. And nampak jugak Ustaz Zawawi Yusoh pun ada!

Jam dah pukul 2.00pm, makanan still tak sampai lagi. Dahi masing2 dah berkerut2, mulut masing2 dah membebel sesame sendiri, sampaikan pekerja dia perasan and tanya, “Akak ada pesan makanan apa yer??”

Dah buat muka baru la dpt makanan yang dipesan.. :P (Ni tips ni if lain kali nak gi situ!hehe.. :P)

Ok, these are the review. For the Nasi Goreng Kampung, not bad.. maybe sbb dah lapar sgt kot.. Char Kuey Tiaw dia pun ok jugak la, ada rasa manis2 udang kat kuah dia.. Tp my friend, Kak Pya kata, kepala udang ada 5, tp badan udang ada 3 je?? Hurmm..sbb tu la terlebih manis kot kuahnya tu..hehe.. but for Shikin punya dishes (Kuey Tiaw Hailam) mmg fail.. Rasa kicap tiram dia terlampau, and kicap pekat tu mcm ada sumthing wrong je. Tak sure la apa yg terlebih atau terkurang. About harga, for my lunch was RM6.30. Then, I thought the cashier wants to give me discount.. Rupa2nya tak..dia tunggu jugak 30sen tu..so, I told him that I just got 10cents. Tak sangka mamat tu amik..isk2… tak boleh berlebih kurang betul..

Maybe this café will be the 2nd choice to go for having lunch. Amethyst lagi ok kot.. next entry I will try to share with you guys. Bukan apa, harga dia quite ok and boleh berlebih kurang.. tu yg buat more interested to visit there again and again.

Lunch at Ayam Penyet Jawa

Today during lunch time, the 3 musketeers; Sykin, Shikin and me went to Ayam Penyet Jawa Restaurant, Glomac Business Centre since Sykin saw the promotion ads stated Nasi+Ayam Penyet+Teh O Ais Limau = RM6.90.
.
We do agree with the idea to have lunch there since the location is not too far from our office (about 5-10minutes walking distance). It is near to the Klinik Komuniti Kelana Jaya, immediately in front of Kastam Kelana Jaya and just next to the Restoran Amethyst Nasi Ayam.

FYI, this is my 1st time to have Nasi Ayam Penyet so I'm quite excited to try it. We arrive quite early, and as usual the waitress gave us the list of menu. We have a look at the menu (even though we already decided to have set lunch as mentioned above) just to compare the price with others Ayam Penyet restaurant. My friend (Shikin) said, the price for the drinks is quite cheap. Okay, after ordering the food and we add on Sup Sayur Asam as the gravy, they took us about more than 15 minutes to wait. Actually we want to order Sup Bakso, but the waitress said,

..“Tiada..petang baru ada.”

Then when we asked for the other gravy, she still repeats the same sentence. (Ingat mamak je yg selalu bagi alasan takde nieh! :P)

Actually, there is no heavy traffic of customer at that time. We still waiting..and wait..and wait.. till my friend Sykin grumbled herself,

“Isk, lambatnya..kang aku hempuk kang”

After she spells the cursed, guess what? The waiter brings out our food but we need to wait for another 10 minutes to have our Sup Sayur Asam.

My comment towards the food is the sambal was spicy, the ayam penyet itself not fresh (isinya gebu), the Sup Sayur Asam has a confuse taste (masam+manis..maybe mmg mcm ni kot rasanya. Dahla jagung tu pun dibelah dua), the Teh O Ais Limau was tasteless.

.This is horrible experience for me for the first timer yang nak rasa Ayam Penyet. Lepas ni, tobat tamau pi dah tempat ni..huhu~~ Oh ya, total for the lunch: RM25.85. It will be first and last we visit here.

Huhu! Quick update from me! Last Wednesday I went to Sunway Pyramid with my mom and sister. Actually, we’ve planned when my mom having her full body massage at Rokaya, then I will cut my hair at A-Saloon. Unfortunately, the saloon closed early on that day due to CNY celebration. Since my sister and I nothing to do, we decided to lepak at Garden Lifestyle Store and Café.

This café is located at ground floor, in front of the escalator. To be precisely, it is in between with Pasta de Goman and JCo Donut. Actually there have two different environments. For those who like cozier, then you can choose to sit inside because the decoration inside is like we are in a castle. So luxury and comfy compared to the open air section that more relax. It has such a nice ambiance and the decoration is like we are in garden wedding because there are full with flowers.
We ordered; Longan Blast (me), Orange Juice (my sister) and Mango Blast (my mom). While for the main menu we have Kung Bao Chicken with Shanghai Noodles (me), Barramundi Fish Grill with Mashed Potato (my sis) and Curry Laksa (my mom). Overall, the dishes we had on that day are so-so. The price for me is affordable.

Hujan Rintik-rintik

Hujan rintik-rintik, air bergelora..
Emak kasi duit, adik pergi sekolah..

Huhu! Today is a rainy day.. So nice to sleep, so good to have ubi kayu goreng with kopi o, to enjoy watching movies, to bermalas-malasan.. The activities that I did just now was watched Ngangkung at Astro First, tea time with a great ubi kayu goreng and kopi O kaw panas which my mom's made for us, continue playing games and now I'm stuck with the Korean movies, My Girl.. *wink*wink* ;)

The hero in this movie is so adorable.. Handsome sangat.. hehe.. That is one reason why I like to watch this movie. Normally, when it comes to Japanese, Taiwanese or Korean movie, I always look first whose the hero and the heroin because I'm a choosy person. As a human being, we always like to look at the beautifulness, right. Therefore, before I watch these kind of movies, I will scan the actor and actress first.. If the they are good looking, then it is acceptable.. But if not, erm,, need to think first.. heheh.. :P

Mi Segera Mamak

Sebenarnya takde la terror in making ala-ala mamak ni.. One day, rasa lapar, then as usual gi dapur cari sumthing to munch.. Buka cabinet, jumpa megi.. Then alter sikit, by campak-campak bahan.. And the outcome, yummy2! ;)

So, this weekend, takde apa-apa aktiviti nak buat.. So, my mum asked to cook megi goreng like I did before.. Presenting, tada~~

2011 Sudah
