.
So, we decided to try Extreme Challenge although this is the 1st time for most of us to be involved in such activity. Siapa org2 yang berani bagaikan perwira Negara tu??
.
1) Me, yaw!
2) Aimi
3) Lin
4) Kak Pya
5) Kin Cik
6) Kak Ita
7) Usop
.
.
The initial plan was for us to participate on the morning session which starts from 8.30am. Unfortunately the session can only slots for 4 more person as that is the only remaining slots available. Due to our enthusiast, we decided to join the afternoon session that starts at 2.30pm.
.
So, if you are planning to try the activity like me (in a group of 5person or more), I would recommend for you to make reservation firsthand. For lesser than 5 person, you may try your luck by walk-in. Better still, reserve your spot or you will be left disappointed.
.
.
After we had our lunch at Hijazi Point, Seksyen 2, we rushed ourselves to Bukit Cerakah. We arrived there around 1.50pm. After we bought the ticket, we took the shutter bus to the Skytrex Adventure Park. The entry fees is RM3 for adult and RM1 for kids.
.
.
.
The bus ride took us about 7-10minutes time. Then we check in by filling up the form provided. We settled the purchase of buying gloves at RM3 per pair (to avoid any injuries while hanging on to the cable wire), and rent a pouch bag at RM5 (money is refundable for pouch bag that is still in good condition).
.
.
The pouch bag is not as practical as it should be as pouch tu just boleh isi ngam2 botol air mineral tu je. Even nak simpan handphone pun tak muat. If you guys have your own waist pouch, better use yours sbb waist pouch dibenarkan while bag pack is permitted but not advisable. Kat sini jugak ada jual air if lupa nak bawak dari rumah kan. But the price maybe quite expensive la kot.
.
We moved to get the personal protective equipment located 10 steps away. Once the officer called our name, we were ask to have on the protective equipment which consist of 2 Carabiners and Pulley. Make sure bila pakai safety equipment tu, anda berasa selesa. Not too tight and not too loose. Sbbnya we will be fully depend on that thingy while we are doing the activity. Plus, we have to ensure that the Carabiner can work properly.
.Around 2.30pm, we had our safety briefing which is conducted by Panjang (the instructor of the day). Owh ya, on the way to the safety briefing site, we all terserempak dgn Qi. Ala host JJCM 2011 tu. At that time, dia dah habiskan semua challenge. Maybe he took the morning session kot. Ok sambung balik, Panjang taught us how to use the carabiners and pulley. He also told us about the risk if the equipment is not properly used before doing some demo. The safety briefing took about 20minutes. To ensure that we have understood and our ears are on him during the briefing, we were asked to do some practical training.
.
.
The training that we have to do in front of him are climbing the ladders, walk on the wire cable and flying fox. Since we are in small group, Panjang mintak kami yg buat dulu the training session because there is another big group with more than 15 person, I guess. Sbb kalau tangkap gmbr tu, mmg penuh satu frame. Senang crite, kami dapat potong line la. ;)
.
.
.
Owh ya, at every checkpoints/decks, only 3 person are allowed at one time. Since there is another group at the first check point, we have to wait for them to clear out before we can start the actual circuit challenge. Our first warrior was Aimi. She volunteered to start first. Followed by Lin, Kak Pya, Kak Ita, Me, Kin Cik and lastly Usop. At every checkpoint, there is a person in-charge standing by. So, no need to worry. Make sure, once you get on the deck, clip on the carabiners on the wire yang dah ditag merah.
.
.
.
.
.
Antara byk2 cabaran, what I like the most is flying fox. Mmg enjoy! Just give a try to yourself. Mmg syiok, I guarantee!
